Public Advisory Council
The Public Advisory Council (PAC) gives people living and working in the Rogue Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization area the opportunity to participate in transportation planning. The PAC reviews all planning issues that come before the RVMPO and makes recommendations to decision makers -- the elected officials on the RVMPO Policy Committee.
The PAC consists of members appointed from nine citizen involvement areas, representing geographical areas in the RVMPO (click here for map) and the special interests of the freight industry, mass transit, minority communities and low-income families. The PAC provides a public perspective on proposed long-range transportation plans, project plans, priorities for state and federal funding and other transportation issues.
The PAC meets on the third Tuesday of every other month, beginning in January, at the Jefferson Conference Room in the RVCOG offices at 155 N. 1st St., Central Point, at 5:30 p.m.
If you require special accommodation to attend or participate in a meeting, please call the Rogue Valley Council of Governments (RVCOG): 664-6676 during office hours Monday through Friday. RVCOG staffs the Rogue Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization.
